SaturdayAddison Station
TIME: 3:30pm
LOCATION: Custom House Pier
"Addison Station started as a studio group in 2008, releasing an introspective collection of acoustic pop tunes titled “Everyday Hero”. The group parted ways upon its release, but in February of 2009 vocalist Trent Gerbers and instrumentalist Jeff Kenniston decided to start touring as a duo under the same name, performing music off the EP as well as a number of cover songs and newly written material. Over the summer and fall of 2009 the duo realized that for their music to reach their fullest potential they would need to flesh out the instrumentation. Kyle Dunnack (percussion), Doug Parkinson (bass), and R.C. Roberts (lead guitar) were added to bring the live show to the next level. As a quartet, Addison Station’s music has fallen into a niche of funky and pop/rock tunes powered with a driving rhythmic foundation, vocal harmony, and pop sensibility. Currently Addison Station is touring the Northeast and released a follow up record in June 2010, along with their first music video for the EP's title track, "Home Tonight".

Veteran New London rockers (and longtime Sailfest favorites) return to usher in the 2010 fireworks display. If any rock and roll band band can challenge the fireworks for excitement and volume, it's The Reducers. Formed in 1978, The Reducers built a following throughout the East Coast and exploded nationally in 1984 thanks to their #1 independent LP, "Let's Go." They've been highlighted in countless newspapers articles and television profiles, and were even the subject of a feature length documentary film. In 2004 The Reducers went international, and triumphantly toured Japan.

TIME: 4:30pm
LOCATION: Custom House Pier
Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk formed in 2003, was initially put together by keyboardist Ivan Neville on a whim in order to perform a solo gig at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Ivan called in cousin Ian Neville (guitar), the double-bass bottom of both Nick Daniels and Tony Hall, and drummer Raymond Webber to round out the show. Named after a song Ivan had recently written, Dumpstaphunk’s informal performance became that of immediate legend. The project has since grown from chance side-project into what is now widely considered to be New Orleans’ most popular musical export. The band was recently voted 2007’s “New Orleans Best Funk Band” by both Offbeat Magazine and Gambit Weekly, and performs at some of the nation’s largest music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Voodoo Fest, 10,000 Lakes, and High Sierra.
