THIS YEARS BEER TENT WILL PROUDLY SERVE:
This year, the theme of Sailfest is "Celebrating Diversity in our Community".  Our three day, sun soaked festival will be filled with multi-cultural entertainment on four stages,      Friday will feature Soul festivities on the Foxwoods stage in Union Plaza and Latin on the City Hall Stage  Friday night will; showcase local bands on both the Waterfront stage and the Custom House Stage.      Saturday we continue with the celebration of different cultures with Latin on the City Hall Stage and Gospel on the City Pier Stage.      Sunday we have Celtic on the  Foxwoods Stage in Union Plaza and Urban on the City Hall Stage.

     SAILFEST is Southeastern Connecticut's premiere summertime event attracting over 300,000 people over the three-day festival. Complete with a major fireworks display, amusement rides, free entertainment, Tall Ships, and food lining downtown streets. Go to our festival page for info on Sailfest.

      The Downtown New London Association is committed to promoting The Downtown New London area through quality special events and activities that showcase the culture and heritage of the Southeastern Connecticut region.      Celebrating our 31st year the Downtown New London Association welcomes you to our historical waterfront city.
The 2008 SAILFEST produced four stages of FREE entertainment from Rock, Celtic, Hip Hop,  blues. Kids enjoyed the FREE shows and entertainment on the City Pier Stage. Tall ships will be boarded and some took and toured, SAILFEST has amusement rides and over one hundred foods, Art Bizaar and festival vendors lining the Downtown Streets.

      Don't forget the largest fireworks display in the Northeast, sponsored by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.

     The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation will be launching their fireworks on Saturday, July 12th starting at 9:25pm
